Areas of application
Hz acoustic panel 009 must be mechanically fixed via 4 pre-drilled holes in the pre-treatment. Areas of use are ceilings and walls where removal and minimisation of noise through construction are desired. Fixing can be done directly on solid support surfaces or on laths.
Material base
Hz acoustic panels consist of custom-made recyclable hard rock wool sheet laminated with a custom-made 10 mm waterproof glass granulate sheet, of which 100% is recycled material.
Storage
Panels are stored free of frost and moisture. The temperature must not exceed 40 degrees Celsius and panels must not be stored in direct sunlight.
Execution
The panels are screwed up with suitable screws in accordance with the supporting surface. Washers (minimum ø 18 mm) are used to prevent screws from sinking into rock wool/glass wool. Dowels can also be used. Panels are mounted with the long side facing the direction of light, and make staggered joints.
The holes are sealed with the provided glass granulate discs. Use Hz fill in all joints of panels. Read the supplier’s instructions.
Drying time
At 20 degrees Celsius and 50% RH, the fill for joints and holes is dry after 1 hour, and can then be sanded with a drywall polisher connected to a vacuum cleaner. Use grain 24.
The 1st coat of plaster or primer for Hz silicate plaster can then be applied the same day.
