Hz DUAL is an acoustic panel like 001 and 007, but with holes for mechanical mounting (mounting with screws).
009 is 30 mm consisting of 20 mm glass wool and 10 mm glass granulate and with 6 holes and plugs.
011 is 50 mm consisting of 40 mm rockwool and 10 mm glass granulate and with 6 holes and plugs.
HZ DUAL panels effectively reduce noise and insulate walls and storey partitions at only 50 mm thick and can eliminate low-frequency noise from electric motors such as fans and the like.
For example, they can be mounted on walls and ceilings to eliminate neighbour noise while improving room acoustics. They can be installed in stairwells and laundry rooms to reduce noise, as well as in passageways to backyards, where they reduce the noise in the doorway while isolating the room above. Street noise can be reduced by mounting them on facade walls or under balconies in apartments, as noise reduction upon open balcony/terrace door. In the case of facade insulation, the finish can be a vapour-permeable silicate plaster intended for interior use or an acoustic plaster.
The panels can also be filled and painted or plastered with our Hz Bio mineral plaster if you don’t want a dampening effect in the room.
Mounting
Hz DUAL can be mounted directly on laths with cc 300 mm, where the panels are screwed (typically on ceilings).
On solid ceilings such as gypsum, concrete and plaster, where a lot of space is required for cables, 30 mm (Hz BASIC 001) can be screwed onto the laths, and a channel can be made. These panels are then butted up to the 50 mm panels (Hz DUAL 011), thus providing an invisible cable duct in the ceiling.
For loose surfaces such as old plastered ceilings, anchor Hz DUAL with long screws in the laths behind the existing plaster.
Hz DUAL is quick to install and can be fully¬ mounted¬ within one day, depending on the size and chosen finishing ¬surface treatment.
